Chris Blackman who heads up Branded Future brings decades of creative experience to the table. While Chris is at the core of every project, he collaborates with a team of talented freelancers (or "side-kicks") who bring along specialised skills when called upon. This structure allows us to offer the comprehensive services of a larger agency at a much more competitive rate, ensuring you get the best of both worlds—personalised attention and a wide range of expertise.
Creativity has always run in my blood. My grandfather was a commercial artist and my mother is an artist and all-round creative. With 20 years of design agency experience, I’ve become well-versed in a broad range of disciplines, from branding and illustration to web design and motion graphics.
I wanted to focus on helping smaller companies get off the ground, grow and truly make their mark.
Starting Branded Future was an exhilarating fresh start. I wanted to focus on helping smaller companies get off the ground, grow and truly make their mark. Small businesses often get overlooked due to how they are perceived so I find it incredibly rewarding to help businesses reach their full potential. My design philosophy is to truly understand where clients see themselves, get into the mindset of their potential customers and create impactful branding that resonates.
Outside of work, I have a passion for motorsport and modern classic cars, especially those from Japan. I also enjoy music, photography and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends while continually seeking inspiration.
With enormous help from my partner I balance my professional life with being a father of twins. Spending time with my kids, who question everything, see the world with such naivety, yet with such clarity, is inspiring. I simply love their energy!
